Inspired by a solar eclipse, the light source of this downlight is discreetly hidden and thus creates a glare-free, indirect illumination. The LED is located in the static blade of the body, and is collimated by the upper reflector, precisely projecting the light downward. The downlight offers an adjustable beam from 15 to 50 degrees and is capable of providing up to 45 degrees of tilt and 360 degrees of rotation, allowing for a seamless transition from the horizontal to the vertical plane.
Statement by the Jury
The high lighting quality of this downlight speaks for a well-thought-out design concept. Eclipse also projects a concise language of form.
